IoT Solutions
What makes IoT succeed: edge-to-cloud coherence.
The IoT stack is one of the hardest areas of software; hardware constraints, unreliable connectivity, security at the edge, and large data volumes all have to be solved at once. The strongest projects treat hardware, firmware, connectivity, and cloud together in a single architecture. What really decides the outcome isn't the individual components — it's coherence across the layers, and that's exactly where we focus.
Avva Mobile has run these layers in production, under real-world conditions. From sensor selection to firmware, from MQTT/LoRaWAN connectivity to the cloud platform and real-time data pipelines, we make every decision against field realities. Architectural decisions are committed to a written document before the first sprint, and the risk matrix is shared with stakeholders.
The practical outcome: deployments running at scale across ride-hailing, fleet, and micromobility verticals, 10,000+ connected devices, and telemetry engineered for low latency. Full repository access stays with you when the engagement ends, along with firmware and cloud documentation. Not dependency — delivery.
Sensor to dashboard. Every step deliberate.
Discovery & Hardware/Protocol Architecture
We analyze your use case, power and range constraints, and data volume in depth, then design hardware, connectivity protocol (MQTT/LoRaWAN), and cloud platform selection together. Skipping this phase is the most expensive technical debt you will ever pay in the field.
Firmware & Cloud Connectivity Build
Our senior-heavy squad builds firmware, device-to-cloud connectivity, and data pipelines together in two-week sprints. A demo on real hardware is delivered at the end of each sprint, and the OTA update infrastructure is stood up from day one. Mandatory code review keeps quality continuously safeguarded.
Field Testing & Telemetry Validation
We test devices under real connectivity conditions, validating telemetry accuracy, latency, and resilience under dropout scenarios. Edge-to-cloud security scanning and operations dashboards are wired. When you go live, you're not flying blind.
Launch & OTA/Operations
We manage the fleet rollout in stages, targeting minimal disruption. The OTA update flow, monitoring dashboards, and alerting go live; full knowledge transfer lets your in-house team own the system. We kick off post-launch support and a continuous improvement cycle.
WHAT SETS US APART
The difference shows in the field.
The common approach.
- Layers split across teams
- Field testing tends to arrive late
- OTA deferred to later
- Telemetry latency unclear
- Edge security as an afterthought
The Avva Mobile approach.
- Sensor to dashboard, one team
- 10,000+ connected devices, in production
- Signed, staged OTA with auto rollback
- Low-latency telemetry by design
- Edge-to-cloud security
Results, proven in numbers.
These numbers are drawn from measurements across production deployments we run at scale in ride-hailing, fleet, and micromobility verticals. Every deployment is different — but edge-to-cloud coherence, field-testing discipline, and robust OTA infrastructure make these outcomes repeatable.
The right partner for the right deployment.
Our IoT solutions service is designed for a specific profile of company. If any of the following describes you, you're in the right place.
- Mobility operations that need to manage a connected device fleet at scale
- Product leaders looking for an end-to-end partner from hardware to cloud
- Teams that need resilient telemetry under unreliable connectivity
- Organizations that must ship secure OTA updates to devices in the field
- Founders who want to turn sensor data into operations dashboards
Questions before you decide.
We support common protocols including MQTT, LoRaWAN, cellular (NB-IoT/LTE-M), and BLE, matched to your use case. We settle protocol selection during discovery alongside your power budget, range, data volume, and cost constraints; we don't lock you into a single protocol.
We design firmware on an offline-resilience principle: the device buffers data locally during dropouts and syncs safely once connectivity returns. In field testing we deliberately simulate dropout scenarios, measure telemetry loss, and aim to keep latency sub-second.
We build the OTA flow with signed firmware, staged rollout, and automatic rollback, so a failed update never bricks a device. You can track every release from the monitoring dashboards, where we measure success rates and automatically roll back problem versions.
We start security on the device: unique device identity, mutual TLS, encrypted telemetry, and least-privilege access in the cloud. Secrets management, certificate rotation, and access logs are planned at the start of the architecture, not deferred to a later phase.
Yes. We can integrate with your existing sensors, gateways, or cloud IoT platform (AWS IoT, Azure IoT, GCP), or build the stack from scratch. During discovery we assess your current setup, identify components worth reusing, and give you an honest migration plan.
